one family's trip to nauvoo

a trip to an old time town turns this family vacation into a trip back in time. Their family roots came west through Nauvoo Illinois and the town now houses museums showing the experiences of the people who lived there. This family had the chance to dip candles, turn wool into yarn, make sisal rope, watch a black smith making horse shoes, watch a wheel wright and a potter, learn to weave rugs, learn to bake bread in a brick oven, and churn butter. They even watched bricks being extruded and shaped before baking. The family also enjoyed their costumes and mementos. The family rented a vacation home and loved playing there in the evening. A great little family vacation interspersed with photos of the family. Nice little montage
